My roommate got me these delicacies from Mexico. They’re quite similar to Filipino ones but I do prefer Filipino ones. Alot of them are made of milk and sugar or coconut. There’s one that I really LOVED although I don’t know what it’s called. See that white and pink block? I thought it looked like a huge block of sugar but then when I tasted it, it was heaven (for me, at least). It was like a block of coconut and sugar. Mmmmmm…  The other was the shaved coconut ball looking things. In the Philippines, they’re called coconut macaroons.  Those were good too.
The milk candies were okay too, but they were a little too sweet to me. I can only eat it in little bits and pieces.
The one I wasn’t too happy about were the jell-o looking ones. I had a pinch of each and I did not like them. The texture was a little too icky for me.
If you know what it’s called, then I’d like to know. My roommate doesn’t know what they’re called either.
